Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
On a Sony VAIO PCG-GRZ610 laptop, Fn-Esc should trigger suspend, Fn-F12
should triger hibernate. Neither keystroke combination works. Suspend
and hibernate seem to work when called from gnome-power-manager but not
from the hot key combinations. These hot key combinations have been
working in 6.06 (Breezy).
This is with latest updates as of 09/26/06, c. 10:00 PM EDT. gnome-
power-manager version is 2.16.0-0ubuntu3; kernel is version
2.6.17-10-generic SMP i686.
