Thanks for reporting. I'm not sure on the details, but it looks like it was picked up. 2.5.2 is currently in hirsute-proposed (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/task/2.5.2+dfsg-1), and based on the changelog it has been updated to look for new versions on github.
Based on the Debian package tracker (https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/task) I found some commits which seems like a 2.5.3 package will soon be uploaded. From there, it should be synced automatically from Debian to Ubuntu. Finally, 2.5.2 is in -proposed but hasn't yet migrated to the release repository where it would be part of the upcoming Ubuntu release. From what I found, the main reason is that some of the autopkgtests report regressions (try searching on https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu- archive/proposed-migration/hirsute/update_excuses.html. I don't know the details here, but if 2.5.3 is uploaded soon, that might resolve the issues. ** Tags added: upgrade-software-version -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1909879 Title: taskwarrior-2.5.2 is out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/task/+bug/1909879/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
