Hi BertN45 - thanks for the report. It looks familiar - like a crash due to some over-excessive module splitting. Some spice code now needs the package qemu-system-gui. => https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=978131
That will be fixed in the upcoming version that is rebased on 5.2-3 containing the fix for Your package listing confirms that in your case qemu-system-gui isn't installed. Until I have merged in the fix for this you should be able to get around this issue by installing qemu-system-gui. Please let me know if it still crashes after installing qemu-system-gui. ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #978131 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=978131 ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Also affects: qemu (Debian) via https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=978131 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: qemu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1908577 Title: QEMU crashed after last update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1908577/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
