Yes after reading it up on freedesktop.org, /usr/share/icons/hicolor is
used in the automatically created menu entry. I stumpled across this
ugly icon when I defined my own launcher. Still it would be nice to have
a good icon since choosing an icon for a launcher under XFCE opens a
file chooser with /usr/share/pixmaps. Don't know about the legacy
purpose and XPM vs PNG.
