Binary package hint: network-manager
I needed to do manual configuration for a stupid LAN setup I was
testing, and found that I can't go back to the nifty automatic mode new
in Gutsy. I liked having the drop-down of networks, and can't find a way
to re-enable it in the GUI. Like all things gnome I'm sure there's a
config file I can edit somewhere, with some arcane setting. Not having
the UI for it in either the task applet or the system preferences is a
bug.
