Public bug reported:

We use an OpenBSD 3.9 server on our LAN, and the Ubuntu Linux kernels
2.6.22 and newer (kernel 2.6.22-14-generic, kernel 2.6.24-1-generic,
etc.) are able to establish a connection to this box, but will not send
or receive any data to/from it. Booting kernel 2.6.20-16-generic or
older resolves the problem. Connecting to OpenBSD 4.1+ with any Linux
kernel works just fine. It's just the odd combination of OpenBSD 3.9 and
Linux 2.6.22+ that seems to have problems.

I do not know what NIC is installed in the OpenBSD 3.9 box, but on the
Ubuntu machine, I have:

$ lspci | grep Eth
01:01.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82547EI Gigabit Ethernet
Controller

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
