Public bug reported: Attempting to use new PIV card on Ubuntu LTS 20.04, but not recognized by opensc 0.20 in Ubuntu LTS 20.04.
Went to the opensc GitHub, and it appears support exists in 0.22, which was released in December. See https://github.com/OpenSC/OpenSC/commit/6545cd26f4117326550b78c1be12f19c076dd18a #diff-14d802e467876e00ece49c8d6621ec74eaf7d02384642ac0694de83397d9bbfc Line 256 shows the addition of the Udemia ID-One card of version 2.4.1, which is the version i'm attempting to use (based on review of the card properties on a Windows machine). Request updating per process to the latest version of opensc in Ubuntu repositories to fix. I don't see this in the developer releases, and I don't know if this is already in the queue.
