** Description changed: Ubuntu-Mate 20.04.1 LTS. Very easy to reproduce here - even a live session: 1) Navigate to /snap/snapd/ 2) Right-Click on "current", select "Properties" 3) CRASH! Every snap app has a "current" directory which is a symbolic link to a numeric folder within the same directory. I chose "snapd" because everyone should have it. All will crash Caja if you attempt to get Properties. I am unable to crash on a similar symbolic link and folder in my home directory. Tried a 20.10 VM - identical crash. + --- + ProblemType: Bug + ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.14 + Architecture: amd64 + CasperMD5CheckResult: skip + CurrentDesktop: MATE + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 + NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia_modeset nvidia + Package: caja 1.24.0-1 + PackageArchitecture: amd64 + ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-62.70-generic 5.4.78 + Tags: focal + Uname: Linux 5.4.0-62-generic x86_64 + UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) + UserGroups: adm cdrom dip lpadmin lxd plugdev sambashare sudo + _MarkForUpload: True ** Attachment added: "Dependencies.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1912096/+attachment/5453933/+files/Dependencies.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1912096 Title: Caja Crash on Some SymLink Properties To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1912096/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
