It's like this because the only-ubiquity installation mode (which is
likely to become the default in Hardy) includes a minimal display-
manager-like implementation that needs to start a window manager, and
currently relies on metacity in the case where the GTK frontend is to be
used. In order to weaken this dependency, an alternative implementation
using a different window manager needs to be provided. Mantas, could you
please do this? The file in question is bin/ubiquity-dm.
