The functionality is present in the desktop ISO daily build of
2021-01-21 [1] , per the ISO manifest file [2]:
ubiquity 20.04.15.3
It has been verified to work correctly on testing of that ISO, with the
following in a preseed file:
ubiquity partman-crypto/luksformat_options string \
--type luks1
