Built an ubuntu-server-live image with PROPOSED=1 via cdimage. The resulting livefs build seems correct:
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-cdimage/+livefs/ubuntu/focal/ubuntu- server-live/+build/257451 Files resulting from this build: livecd.ubuntu-server.initrd-generic (80.0 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.initrd-generic-hwe (83.6 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.installer.squashfs (233.2 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.kernel-generic (11.1 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.kernel-generic-hwe (9.3 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.manifest (15.5 KiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.modules.squashfs-generic (57.1 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.modules.squashfs-generic-hwe (59.4 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.rootfs.tar.gz (402.1 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.squashfs (356.7 MiB) livecd.ubuntu-server.squashfs.manifest (15.5 KiB) As seen, the build now results in both GA and HWE kernels present. Looking at the build logs, I have confirmed that the correct livecd- rootfs version was used (2.664.13).
