I have the same problem in ununtu gutsy, I have the nvidia2 chipset
also. Is there no fix to this problem? I really need usb2.0 to use
linux, im thinkin of going back to windows or giving suse a whirl. I
never had this problem in earlier versions of ubuntu. When I terminate
'ehci_hcd' things start to work at a crawling pase, everything detects
and I cant upload anything to the card reader or external hard disk.
Please if anyone knows a remedy for this other than throwing 'modprobe
-r' in the boot, let me know.

Ive attached the requested logs of dmesg etc to assist the people
working on this problem. Is it possible to like downgrade your kernel
without ubuntu cracking the shits? Or is ubuntu like coded for the
kernel or something... (Linux N00b Here!)

Thanks,
-iMaNeX
