Have to add to the above: after first login, I rearranged the screens using the Display Settings. That creates a file ~/.config/monitors.xml. That file does some magic in preventing the flickering. However, it becomes effective only after logging out and logging in again, so I was mislead when testing the flickering above. Anyways: deleting the file, logging out, logging in (Xorg) and the flickering is back. Rearranging screens, logging out/in: flickering is gone.
With this, I'll try on Ubuntu-Budgie again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1913963 Title: [Cherry Trail] [modeset] Cursor flickering on dual screen setup To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1913963/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
