No response from original reporter in a very long time.
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11 exist on my Dapper and Edgy machine. I'll close this
report for now. If you still have this problem feel free to re-open it
and provide more details about it (which version of Ubuntu? is it an
upgrade or a new install?)
