Public bug reported:

In net-snmp 5.8, a regression has been done with SNMP v3 and the maximum size
for the session.
It's corrected in 5.9 and was working in 5.7.
I have tested the change and all is working fine.
Please see
https://github.com/net-snmp/net-snmp/commit/78bf0069ddd24ea0cc716421c53e1daf46da7002

Is there a way to integrate it in the 5.8 release ?
