Hello and thanks for your bug report. From the logs it seems that mysql
failed to start because of another "stray" instance of mysql running in
background:

2021-02-03T22:28:02.718655Z 0 [ERROR] [MY-011300] [Server] Plugin mysqlx
reported: 'Setup of socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqlx.sock' failed, can't create
lock file /var/run/mysqld/mysqlx.sock.lock'
2021-02-03T22:28:02.718987Z 0 [System] [MY-011323] [Server] X Plugin ready for

ca.pem is self signed.
2021-02-03T22:28:03.038261Z 0 [System] [MY-013602] [Server] Channel mysql_main
configured to support TLS. Encrypted connections are now supported for this
channel.
2021-02-03T22:28:03.041307Z 0 [ERROR] [MY-010262] [Server] Can't start server:
Bind on TCP/IP port: Address already in use
2021-02-03T22:28:03.041776Z 0 [ERROR] [MY-010257] [Server] Do you already have
another mysqld server running on port: 3306 ?
2021-02-03T22:28:03.042724Z 0 [ERROR] [MY-010119] [Server] Aborting

This may happen if mysql is started manually instead of using the init
system helper scripts (systemctl <start|stop> <service>). Could this be
the case? Waiting for your reply I'm setting the status of this bug
report to Incomplete.
