Today happened again. I was working with remote desktop Remmina to access my work-computer using Windows and suddenly mouse icon disappeared and keyboard stopped responding.
This time background musing running on my Ubuntu host did not stop playing, it looks like laptop did not completely freeze. I was also able to recover (without hard reset): 1. Ctrl+Alt+F3 and get into console, logged in. 2. Search for remmina process: ps aux | grep remmina 3. Kill the remmina process: kill -9 <remmina's_pid> 4. Ctrl+Alt+F4 and I was back and desktop was responding normally. I could start Remmina and now working without a problem. I am attaching files requested in #22 post. ** Attachment added: "freshprevboot.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1903986/+attachment/5460441/+files/freshprevboot.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1903986 Title: Ubuntu 20.04 freezes with remmina in full-screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1903986/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
