Public bug reported:
After performing a fresh installation of Ubuntu MATE 20.04.2.0 on a kvm,
when rebooting into the target system the boot splash seems wrong. Only
a black screen is presented with the green MATE loading dots moving (as
intended).
Assigning to plymouth for now, but I don't think this is the right
target.
