Public bug reported:

Hello
speed of execution of reshape and chunk under Ubuntu version 20.04.2.

The execution speed of the "reshape" and "chunk" actions of the MDADM
command is much too slow :(speed = 288K / sec).

The IOTOP command also indicates that the flow is very low.
There is nothing visible with the journalctl command.
It will take more than six hours to process a raid of 30 GB.

So probably a month if the raid is 4 TB!
In addition these commands have no effect
sudo sysctl -w dev.raid.speed_limit_min=50000 && sudo sysctl -w
dev.raid.speed_limit_max=500000 && cat /proc/sys/dev/raid/speed_limit*
500000
50000

The problem is also visible in this french discussion: https://forum
.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=22416407#p22416407

Please provide a solution.
