Public bug reported:
I installed lightdm and then rebooted. It worked fine but i wanted to
change how it looks. I tried installing the web-greeter using whither as
instructed here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/960334/how-can-i
-install-lightdm-webkit2-greeter
and the PC wouldn't open. It would be loading forever. So then i deleted
the conf file and it reverted to the default. I've tried placing the
same conf file at /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf with the same results
