@sean I don't think we have a standard of not re-using upstream bugs for
distro. I've thought about this frequently but up to this point nobody
complained, to me at least, so I've just continued on. I personally like
to re-use the upstream bug since it's nice to have everything in one
place and it's fewer bugs to track from my pov. I can see that it could
be annoying/noisy from an upstream pov though.
