Hi Dann I'm not sure how to test custom kernel with Curtin during installation. I will try to install it into non-flash-kernel system and see APT will install it or not.
As your advice, I have a question about this. If this question isn't critical, I think this should work. Do we need to consider about someone who will want to use EFI-STUB to boot directly? If so, maybe we shouldn't add grub-efi-arm64 to recommends? Because it will install unnecessary package for them. grub-efi-* will be installed in `install_missing_packages` stage before `install_kernel`. So flash-kernel will not be installed if grub-efi-* is installed and in recommends of kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1918427 Title: curtin: install flash-kernel in arm64 UEFI unexpected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/curtin/+bug/1918427/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
