To reproduce:
Start Ubuntu, log in and open firefox and try to load a page while the wireless 
network is still connecting.

I am using  with a DLINK DWL-G122 USB device to connect to a wireless
network.

FF version string:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8.1.6) Gecko/20071008 Ubuntu/7.10 
(gutsy) Firefox/2.0.0.6
