Public bug reported: A follow-up to LP: #1895971, now backporting cvise 2.3. Not planning any further backports.
cvise is a test case reduction tool used to reduce test cases for compiler issues. It's not yet available in the LTS release. Having it available in the same release as the compilers that you are debugging/using makes the test case reduction easier. Also needed is the dependency python-pebble. Regression potential: None, as these are new packages. Validation: the test suite succeeds during the build. ** Affects: cvise (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: cvise (Ubuntu Bionic) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: cvise (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: cvise (Ubuntu Groovy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cvise (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cvise (Ubuntu Groovy) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: cvise (Ubuntu Bionic) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1921105 Title: SRU: backport cvise to 18.04 LTS, 20.04 LTS and 20.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cvise/+bug/1921105/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
