Thank you for your bug report. Just to make sure this is not a configuration issue: at the bottom of the sound preferences (preferences - sound), you can select which device/track should be controlled by your keyboard. You can first make sure that it is really set to the master track, and if it is, try manually playing around with the settings - if needs be, you can even select multiple channels.
