Thank you for your report.

If I understand correctly you are trying to compile something from
source, and the compilation doesn't work anymore on Focal, while it did
on Bionic. This might be because the libpcap package got updated and
it's not compatible anymore with your codebase. However in this case the
problem you're facing can't be considered a bug in Ubuntu. You can find
pointers to get help for this sort of problem here:
https://ubuntu.com/support/community-support

If it turns out that your issue is a bug in Ubuntu, then we need a full
bug report please. Until then, we can't make any progress on this
report, and you won't find many people who can help you here - we have
better venues where there is a community willing to help - see the link
above.

If you believe that this is really a bug, then you may find it helpful
to read "How to report bugs effectively"
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful
if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem,
explain why you believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem
specific to your system, and then change the bug status back to New.

** Changed in: libpcap (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
