I can't get 4 speakers to work with MPlayer or anything. I tried
speaker-test:

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and I'm using the M-Audio Revolution 5.1 sound
card, but I also have an onboard NVidia HDA card. Everything is like it
should be after a clean install. I don't have an asoundrc or asoundconf
file in my home directory.
