Public bug reported:
After being unable to do a fresh install to two different USB3 sticks, I
tried using a external USB3 2.5 inch hard disk. The 2 sticks installed
a EFI FAT16 partition quickly, but the ext4 format was so slow it did
not finish even until the next morning.
The external HDD formatted quickly, but the installer was not able to
install grub and terminated in failure.
Since 2 weeks, I have not been able to accomplish a fresh install of
Hirsute daily to either external USB sticks or hard disks.
