I have a Ubuntu/Win 10 dual boot ASUS Ryzen 4900 ROG notebook.

Touchpad works on Win 10. Touchpad does not work on Ubuntu 21.04. I
tried several kernel variants and drivers such as libinput default,
synaptics touchpad, touchegg and libinput-gestures. I was earlier on
LTS version, just migrated to dev version of 21.04 in search of
solution.
Some combination could get touchpad working perfectly well. After
reboot, it ceased working and I simply could not get the combination
working.
