Public bug reported:

After upgrading to an AMD laptop (Thinkpad T14) and Ubuntu 21.04, when I
boot the laptop my audio device has changed to HDMI, instead of
remembering my headphones from last session.

Screen remains plugged in, but takes a few seconds to wake up while
booting.

Commenting out
     load-module module-switch-on-port-available
in /etc/pulse/default.pa fixes the issue.
