I have been trying to solve this for
a while.
It appears this specific unicode
character somehow creates weird
lag and ghosting everywhere in
graphical environment.
One workaround is to create
"\✓" folder in home directory
and rename all workspaces like this.
It also helps if you replace any
url in address bar with "\✓".
