I cant remove those variables in /sys/firmware/efi/efivars on my thinkpad x230. I removed the -i kernel protection on the files but still get "invalid argument". I even tried different Setup- or User-Modes in Bios for Secureboot. That only shrinked the dbx variable a bit but didnt solve the issue.
