I think the root cause is old (March 2019) translation templates, i.e.
the original string has been changed since then. I just committed an
update:

https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubiquity-slideshow/ubiquity-slideshow-
ubuntu/html/revision/896

At next upload of the ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu package, new and
modified strings will become available for translation.

So probably this will improve in Ubuntu 21.10. Maybe in coming 20.04
point releases too.
