Thanks for your report! I think the root cause is old (March 2019) translation templates, i.e. the original string has been changed since then. I just committed an update:
https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubiquity-slideshow/ubiquity-slideshow- ubuntu/html/revision/896 At next upload of the ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu package, new and modified strings will become available for translation. So probably this will improve in Ubuntu 21.10. Maybe in coming 20.04 point releases too. ** Also affects: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Gunnar Hjalmarsson (gunnarhj) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1925349 Title: Strings are not translated in installer's welcome slideshow.
