Public bug reported:
The doxygen version 1.8.17 and gs version 9.50 are incompatible.
Doxygen has fixed this issue with 1.8.18 (see
https://github.com/doxygen/doxygen/issues/7484 ).
The newest version 1.9.1 should be compatible with Ubuntu 20.04 as well.
Solution: Please update the doxygen version to 1.9.1.
