Ubuntu focal is up to version 1:2.3.7.2-1ubuntu3.3 now, which includes
fixes for malformed MIME patches, however does not yet have the fix from
deb #970386. However, I'm also not able to reproduce the reported issue
when downgrading to 1:2.3.7.2-1ubuntu3:

Could you assist us in identifying a simple test case we can use to
reproduce the issue and validate the fix?
