Public bug reported: This also effects the Ubuntu Dock.
Ubuntu 21.04 installed on a Micosoft Surface Go. When invoking the Activities Overview, the overview ceases to be responsive to mouse clicks or to touchscreen interaction. The only interaction to which it responds is the keyboard. Likewise, the Ubuntu Dock also ceases to respond to mouse gestures, clicks or to touchscreen interaction. Meanwhile, apps continue to respond to both Mouse and Touchscreen gestures. I haven't yet found a workaround. That said, I experimented yesterday with limiting myself to touchscreen interaction and the bug, for the period of time that used the system, didn't appear. It's possible that there's some kind of conflict between the mouse, touchscreen and Wayland usage? When used under a Xorg session, this Bug doesn't appear to affect the system. Notes: I chose Wayland as the affected passage but apparently Wayland "does not exist in Ubuntu". ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1927993 Title: Gnome Activities Overview Unresponsive to Mouse or Touchscreen Interaction To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1927993/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
