I followed the instructions shown in many places including:

I merged it with the ppscsi-source code, so it has the debian directory
and archived it.   All you have to do is replace the ppscsi-source
package with this tarball and voila.  Hopefully it can get into the
repository soon.

NOTE: This is not a patch, it is a tarball of all the code.  I also did
not change the version (it is 0.92,  like the penguin-breeder.org
tarball) nor did I update the changelog.

I still have a problem scanning, but it doesn't seem to be driver
related.


BTW, Jon - if you have something else/better please attach it to this bug so 
everyone can use it, even if Ubuntu/Debian don't put it in the official package.
