@Sebastien, the 1.9 series is really just an evolutionary change to the 1.8 series, I can't see any breaking changes or something like that, and with 1.9.1 you get the latest and greatest bug fixes (see https://www.doxygen.nl/manual/changelog.html). But if you want to avoid a minor version change, 1.8.20 will solve the problem as well.
the attached example project contains some doxygen formulas (data_handling.md). Run "doxygen" in the example's main folder, with latex and ghostview installed. It should stop inside a gs error prompt as mentioned in the issue I linked in my opening post. ** Attachment added: "little doxygen example with latex formulas" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/doxygen/+bug/1926353/+attachment/5496355/+files/launchpad_1926353_example.tgz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1926353 Title: Doxygen incompatible with gs on 20.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/doxygen/+bug/1926353/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
