Public bug reported:
Ubuntu focal/20.04 has logrotate version 3.14.0 which is ancient. There
have been multiple important bugfixes since then
(https://github.com/logrotate/logrotate/releases).
Ubuntu hirsute/21.04 does include the latest version, but that isn't an
LTS version, so is not an option for many of us.
Please consider adding the latest version to the 20.04 apt repository?
(I'm aware of workarounds such as installing manually, building from
source, etc. But like most users I prefer to rely on the apt
repositories.)
