Haven't fully tracked this issue in all kernels updated via apt but: Kernel 5.4.0-51 Kernel 5.4.0-52 Kernel 5.4.0-65 Kernel 5.8.0-44 Kernel 5.8.0-49 Kernel 5.8.0-53
... all still have this issue. At Kernel 5.8.0-49 IR went wonky with repeating key button presses for quite some time although it does finally appear to stop after seventy- six (76) times of: ``` 44076.138469: event type EV_KEY(0x01) key_up: KEY_VOLUMEUP(0x0073) 44076.138469: event type EV_SYN(0x00). ``` Same "work-around" that is discussed at https://github.com/clontarfx /kodi-rc6-mce-nolirc/issues/3 needs to be applied even in the wonky state. ** Bug watch added: github.com/clontarfx/kodi-rc6-mce-nolirc/issues #3 https://github.com/clontarfx/kodi-rc6-mce-nolirc/issues/3 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901089 Title: Ubuntu kernels 5.4.0-51 and 5.4.0-52 break ir-keytable loading To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1901089/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
