I don't kown either at what time is best for reporting that issue and if it is 
better continuing here or creating a new bug report.
Perhaps the last option is better because the bug will be reported against next 
release and this one is reported against Hirsute Hippo and it's no longer under 
development.
I heard that Ubuntu devs are working on a new installer 
(https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2021/02/ubuntu-is-working-on-a-brand-new-installer)
 so perhaps is more appropiate to wait some time and see if the new installer 
is included on next Ubuntu release. If this is the case, try it and, if the bug 
persists, fill a bug against it.
I did not try any daily-live yet, but I suppose that the problem persists as 
you said.
So, for what was said above, if no one opposes on next days I'll close this bug 
report because I think it is useless now and later, if in next release the bug 
persists, someone could create a new one
