Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ia32-libs-kde
References: GLSA-200712-08 (http://www.gentoo.org/security/en/glsa/glsa-200712-08.xml) USN-513-1 (http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-513-1) USN-495-1 (http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-495-1) USN-368-1 (http://www.ubuntu.com/usn/usn-368-1) The listed USNs fixed a number of Qt vulnerabilities; GLSA-200712-08 is about inherited vulnerabilities on 64 bit installs via 32 bit emulation libraries. Now I'm wondering if the ia32-libs-kde package contains any parts of Qt that also need the fixes that have been commited with the mentioned USNs. Sorry for reporting this if it doesn't apply to Ubuntu, but better safe than sorry, I thought. ** Affects: ia32-libs-kde (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Visibility changed to: Public ** CVE added: http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi- bin/cvename.cgi?name=2007-4137 ** CVE added: http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi- bin/cvename.cgi?name=2007-3388 ** CVE added: http://www.cve.mitre.org/cgi- bin/cvename.cgi?name=2006-4811 -- [ia32-libs-kde] Qt vulnerabilities inherited? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/176927 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
