Hi,
from your log
Configurando mysql-server-8.0 (8.0.25-0ubuntu0.20.04.1) ...
mysqld will log errors to /var/log/mysql/error.log
mysqld is running as pid 6866
Error: Unable to shut down server with process id 6866
I've found a few more like that and will combine the bug reports into
one marking this one a duplicate - please participate in any discussion
that might arise on the main bug that will be left open.
