Hi Hiren and Martinus,
The Trisquel and Linux Mint distributions are not Ubuntu, so your bug
reports would be better directed to those distros rather than here. I
don't know why they would not provide /etc/os-release since that is
standard, and on cursory look it appears they do have the file:

That said, honestly I'm not sure whether ubuntu-advantage-tools is even
relevant to those distros. Again though, this is more a question for
your distribution's maintainers than for us.
