dpkg complains that mysql failed to stop when it was trying to restart the service to the new version, however the mysql error log indicates the service did indeed shutdown, just that it took a while to do so (~1.5 min). If that is the case, then this may be another dupe of the "exceeded timeout to shutdown" class of bugs.
