Probably a new bug: As I'm on Linux Mint, I had to manually install apport, only to find out that the package missed a dependency on python3-launchpadlib, so I installed that one, too. Sadly, it doesn't work in crashed state as the network is not working in that environment.
I've added ppa:canonical-kernel-team/proposed and installed 5.4.0-74-83. There were some warnings about probably missing firmware files for i915 (Intel Graphics). The reboot ended with an emergency console like with 5.4.0-73. ** Attachment added: "ppa-kernel.txt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1928950/+attachment/5500327/+files/ppa-kernel.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1928950 Title: ThinkPad X250 boot failure with kernel 5.4.0-73-generic (Linux Mint 19.3) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1928950/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
