Binary package hint: pitivi
Here the error message on my sony laptop with ubuntu gutsy i386 :
esdsink.c(263):gst_esdsink_open():/bin1esdsink0:
can't open connection to esound server
Pitivi can not connect to the sound server, so impossible to work on a
simple video with sound. I have the same problem on ubuntu gutsy amd64,
but without the error message : no sound.
