Thanks for clarification and the log. The failure is due to the SD/MMC CMD2 which tries to asks any card to send the CID numbers on the CMD line. I revert some rtsx_pci patches which is not in groovy yet to build the hirsute test kernel. Could you please verify the kernel in the https://people.canonical.com/~mschiu77/lp1929444/ whether the problem still persists? Thanks
