I can't believe it... it boots fine again but once, twice, three times... and there is no MBR partition anywhere. And I repeated the steps again, just in case - Burn on stick the iso that was builded with xorriso-1.5.5. - Boot it for the first time --> Success. - Boot it again --> Fails - sudo dd if=/dev/zero bs=1 count=16 of=/dev/sdX conv=notrunc seek=462 - Boot it again --> Success - The following boot attempts went fine too and no MBR partition 2 is added. - All the successful boots finish when I reach full desktop environment after choosing "Try Ubuntu". Then I reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1922342 Title: HIrsute live session takes ages to boot on BIOS systems To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/1922342/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
