Public bug reported: I have appended an alias to my `.bashrc` file.
Prior to the update (from Kubuntu 20.10 to Kubuntu 21.04) this alias did work when I opened a terminal from dolphin (F4). It no longer does. It does however work if I close the terminal session Ctrl + Shift + W and reopen it F4. Other users seem to have the same problem as evidenced here: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1340955/after-update-to-21-04-my-alias-in-bashrc-no-longer-works?noredirect=1#comment2290892_1340955 1)Description: Ubuntu 21.04 Release: 21.04 2)dolphin: Installed: 4:20.12.3-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 4:20.12.3-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 4:20.12.3-0ubuntu1 500 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hirsute/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1929930 Title: The Terminal in Dolphin does not source bashrc upon boot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dolphin/+bug/1929930/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
